Net Attack Aimed at Banking Data

Users can pick up the latest bug, which doesn't yet have a name, from pop-up ads that secretly download software capable of capturing their keystrokes. The pop-ups originate at Web sites that receive their ads from certain online ad services, which apparently had themselves been hacked to spread the malicious code.

The bug targets users of Microsoft Corp.'s Internet Explorer browser. Experts said users can protect themselves from the bug by using a non-Microsoft Corp. browser or by using software to block pop-ups. Internet Explorer users are immune if they download and install a patch that was released in April. Internet Explorer users are also being advised to set the security setting for their browsers to "high," a level that makes it more difficult to interact with some Web sites.

People. At the very least download FireFox. At the best, get a Mac and use FireFox. You see on an Apple Computer you don't have to worry about Windows virus's and with FireFox you don't have to worry about popup's or popunders. Double the protection from all the nasty's out there and Double the fun!!

Well, Yahoo! Mail doesn't count my bulk mail folder (where it sends the SPAM it filters) aginst my 100 meg inbox size. At the moment I've got 4,780 messages there. All SPAM. All unwanted. All not ever going to be deleted by me. That's right. I'm going to see how many SPAM messages Yahoo! Mail will let me have before they delete them or start sending me nasty messages. They might have something that deletes messages based on their age, but I don't know and with as much SPAM as I get on that email account I don't think it will matter. I should be over 5,000 soon. Maybe by Wednesday June 30th!

Welp, Carlos "Show-Me-The-Money-As-Long-As-It's-Not-In-Kansas City" Beltran, is now a 'stro!! And in his first at bat he managed an infield single. In his second at bat he flied out to center. He's moving on up for sure though, now that he plays on a 4th place team and not that 5th place team he just came from. Me doubt's he'll be a 'stro next season though. In his third at bat Beltran doubled to deep right, and scored a run. In his fourth at bat he flied out to center.

In a related story, David DeJesus, trying out for the freshly opened Center Field position in KC, promptly struck out looking in 6 pitches. In his second at bat he singled to center, breaking up Matt Morris's no hitter. In his third at bat DeJesus singled to center. In his fourth at bat he DeJesus grounded out to second.

Felons Paid in Voter Registration Drive

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - A Democratic group crucial to John Kerry's presidential campaign has paid felons - some convicted of sex offenses, assault and burglary - to conduct door-to-door voter registration drives in at least three election swing states.

No surprise there. Seems to me that the Democrats would be all for sending out convited sex offenders to scope out you neighborhood, collect vital information, like your address and your daughter's bra size or the best way to seduce your young son out of the safety of your home. Yep, no surprise there.

Just think of it...

That's an interesting thought... but I'm not sure being approached by an average
looking guy will boost a hotties self esteem. I'm not sure who's self esteem is
getting boosted when you piss off her boyfriend/fiance/husband, but I am pretty
sure it will be my face getting beat inside out. So girls, what do you say? Does
being approached by an average looking guy boost your self esteem? Does it piss
off your boyfriend/fiance/husband who then beats the crap out of the average guy?

The problem most guys have is that they imagine the
9 times that they don't wind up with a date as being
"cold, hard, shut down" style rejections.

And unless you have no class or tact at all, this
just isn't going to happen.

Load of stinky smelly boo pucky! A rejection is a rejection is a rejection. There is no such thing as a nice friendly rejection. Each time I'm told that I'm more like a brother or that we are just friends, it hurts worse and worse. It doesn't boost my self esteem, it annahilates it.

with average guys. It's actually the rule, rather

That can't be the rule... I'm not with anybody who is more physically attractive than I am. I'm not with anyone. But what I think Davie-boy is trying to point out here is that all of the "more attracitve than you girls" are off the market. That's right they are all taken. No one is left for you, well, just the one's who want to tell you that you are more like a brother or just friends.

And try making women smile when you meet them... and
find out if they're beautiful on the INSIDE as well
as the outside before you choose to see them again.

I agree with you... it is the more
intelligent, attractive, self-confident women that

Most women respond very well to it, but the really
sharp ones just LOVE it.
