Landslide

Remember my prediction? Well, it wasn't quite right. Not reallyl a landslide as far as the Electoral Collage points went. Oh well. My guess wasn't any worse that the Professional Polling People did :)

Yes, I agree, that official seal of the Democratic party thing you posted is true. You want to know why we're crying? It's not an ego thing, we're not crying because of pride reasons like a Texan who gets his ass kicked in a bar brawl would, we're crying because we actually care about the world and how many injustices will prevail in the next four years. We aren't crying as Democrats, we're crying as Americans (as you should too) and as human beings on planet Earth.
Kerry shouldn't have lost, much like voters shouldn't have had to wait 5 hours to vote in highly Democratic areas. I'm not saying it was rigged, but very suspicious, much like the last election.
Even if Bush won fair and square, with no help from his brother on Florida, or the Republican secretary of state of Ohio, Ken Blackwell, his victory is still tarnished by the way the Republican party has pulled the blinders over it's electorate. Bush supporters do not realize that the Republican party is using them, and does not have their best interest in mind, nor does the party hold the same ideals as many of their supporters. Moral values is not the only issue involved in politics, nor is it the most important, but merely a smokescreen to veil the right's real agenda. Moral extremism should not be #1 on the political agenda, as this is sure to create a divided United States and divert attention away from the more important issues. For more on the ignorance of Bush supporters see Jane Smiley's essay...
