Save the Whales, Kill the Males

I got this email from MINI asking me how many miles I planed on not driving on June 5th in order to do my part to save the world. Well, crap like that is a bunch of hogwash so I though I'd see if I could pledge to not drive zero miles that day (I do have to go to work you know). I figured they would have some kind of filer in there to block their political adversaries.
I'm not the only one who thinks not driving for a day to save the world is a dumb idea:

Mini BofA

So I was logging in to pay some bills and I saw this ad. I just had to share it because it's a MINI Cooper. I wonder if they customized this ad just for me?!

Respect?

Absolutely Shocked to see this when I check the Fox Sports baseball power rankings today:
Are my Kansas City Royals actually getting respected? Pitching will do that you know...

Easily Amused

I'm still amused that my title, back when I worked for Bank of America, was "Analyst II, Sys. Eng. Arch & Anly." Now I'm just a "Network Svcs Tech Sr." I wonder what the next title will be?

Mini Snow!

I saw this over on boingboing.net and really liked it. Maybe someday I'll give it a shot.

None of the snow in this piece is simulated. I went out and show on the snowiest days of winter. The last scenes in the video were shot during a blizzard.

This was shot on a Canon Powershot SD630 Point & Shoot.

Additional footage was shot on a Sony EX1 by Jeff Thomas.

Posted using Final Cut, Photoshop, Motion and Color.
